Coming Home: What I Learned
I’m back!
Christmas was amazing, and I appreciated being with my family so much more after four months away from them. Skype is great, but it’s just not as good as the real thing (as opposed to Tofurky…yum!).
I’ve been in hibernation mode for the last few days, but I’ve managed to crank out a couple of travel-related articles for other sites.
I’ve written what hopefully won’t be my last piece for the Oakville Beaver, about all the things that I’ve learned in the last four months. Read that here.
I’m also testing out a site called HubPages, which specializes in short how-to and advice pieces. Eventually my posts there will have ads, from which I get a little cash money. Score! Read about the 10 most important things I packed here.
While I’m so happy about the last four months, I’m starting to stress about the job situation. I have an internship that I feel good about, but it only lasts four months so the future is unknown. It’s scary but exciting, and I can’t wait to see what happens.
In the coming days, expect some lists (I love lists) about everything from how I budgeted for the trip to what I packed.
Bye for now!
